Sitting here today, my mind is in a fog, I'm wishing I had time, to update our family blog....
I think about my days, and what keeps me so busy, then I think of our weekly schedule and now I feel so dizzy!
It starts on Monday morning, and not a child will get up, not one! ...everyone is too tired from the weekend full of fun. After a little battle and maybe a breakfast or two, the kids all leave for school and I hope no one forgets their shoe. Mom goes to work for a few hours, usually getting a call or two, looks like someone at the High School did forget his basketball shoe. After school on Monday the brother has ball, while the big sister is stuck at the Middle School hoping not to fall. Mom and little sisters run home to start cooking, while hurrying to do homework and clean while no one is looking.
Tuesday is the same, only adding one thing to the night... Young Women's and Young Men's for Daddy and two big kids, while the little ones shower and usually fight :) By now I've driven to three schools and back, so many times, my gas tank does lack....
Wednesday is big day, mom is usually stressed, we plan all day for the one thing we like best! Husky Basketball is today and after packing a bag of treats and a couple little toys, we get ready to cheer for AJ and all the Husky boys! Sometimes Shelby misses between dance and basketball, we run over to pick her up so she can catch a minute of the boys playing ball.
Thursday again is much of the same, the big kids staying after school and the girls thinking errands are lame. I've now driven to their schools so many times, I'm going to have to start saving my dimes. Sometimes on Thursday nights, we all sit at the table, to have dinner together as its the only night we are able. We quicky catch up with eachother and talk about the week, all the while mommy is starting to feel a little weak.
As Fridays roll around, mommy is getting tired, we have a Husky ball game tonight, so the girls are getting wired. We dress up in our green and pile in the car, to head out to the game, and hope its not too far. We sit with all our friends and cheer as loud as we can, we hope to pull out a win..I am for sure AJ's biggest fan.
I love my Saturdays and Sundays, as they are usually full of kids, the more kids hanging out here, the happier I am... I consider all of them part of my little fam! Treats and movies and games and dancing, texting and calling and dates and laughing. These kids are the best, I don't know what I'd do, if my weeks were boring and no one ever forgot their shoe :)
