1st Day of Kindergarten.... Skyley has been waiting and waiting and waiting for school to start. She said the funniest thing last week. Last Sunday night, AJ, Shelby and Sydney were getting ready for school, setting out new clothes, getting backpacks ready and talking about how excited they were. Skyley asked when she was going to start, we all told her "next week." Monday and Tuesday were so hard for Sky, watching everyone go to school and come home talking about it, she kept asking when does she get to start school, again we all told her "next week." Tuesday night, I was running Shelby and Sydney to dance, when we got to the studio, they got out of the car, Skyley unbuckled and wanted to get out, too. I told her no, she doesn't have dance today, so she asked "when do I have dance?" I told her "next week." Well, she plopped back into her booster seat and said... "I HATE NEXT WEEK.." it was hilarious!!!Well, next week is finally here... She started Kindergarten today!! What a sad day for Mommy, but such a happy day for Skyley. She is so big, did so great and loved it so much!!!
And to top the day off... The Silver Mesa Eagle mascot was there to welcome the Kindergartners.

I know, they should let kindergarten start first and make the big kids (who get it) wait. Last year was the same for us with Emma - it's tough when older kids start!
Your kids are so darling and I'm thrilled that Koko and Sydney are in the same class this year!!
